I love Mayas humor and how her fear of change was addressed. I could have done without the pet name Nutkin and I dont like Andrew at all. I also really want a cinnamon roll now!!
This is the second book in the Maya Davis series and it was just as wonderful as the first.Latte Daze isn't the longest book in the world, or at least not the longest book I have ever read, but it seemed long. I didn't care for this sequel as much as I enjoyed the first book. There were some instances where it was more of mature discussions that were a bit uncomfortable subject matter (though I felt they were handled very well).Also, I didn't care for the cover art since a wedding didn't actually take place in this book. This book is quite a daze...kind of leaves you wondering how to rate or review it! Compared to others by this author, I thought Latte Daze was a little weak. I enjoyed this much more than the first book in the series. Sure, there were moments, just like the first book, where I felt some parts were a bit cheesy and unrealistic.
