I purchased this book from Amazon to read with my sister. All opinions are my own. 🌟🌟🌟🌟 Proverbs For Parenting by Barbara Decker. I was leery of this book at first. I do not like a Bible study that reads like an owner's manual, but after realizing it was more about organizing thoughts not a "how to" book it was easy to work into my morning devotion time. It also gives parents an insight into helping build a child's character through Gods word. My wife got me this book for Christmas. On the face of it, it is definitely not my style. I don't like "handbook" approaches to the Bible, nor do I think that good Christian parenting requires proof-texts around every turn. However, with that being said, this book is just the Bible (Proverbs) organized topically. And if used as a Bible reference, it's very very handy. I have already incorporated it into my morning devotion time, and I was surprised at just how well I liked it.

This book should be in every home. Simply go to the topic you are having to work on and there are the Proverbs that speak to the issue.
