We pick up six months down the road with Emily and Jake. Jake's dad is finally sober and taking more of an active role in the boys' lives. Jake is of course still uncomfortable with his dad due to all the past hurts. Drake is still a big part of Emily and Jake's lives, though they have been spending more time together. Unexpectedly, very unexpected, Conrad drops by for a visit. He is there to explain to Emily why he broke up with her two years ago, and hoping to maybe reclaim her for his own.Jake and Emily's story is great. From the first book we pick up months after the pictures are posted at the school... It seems everything has blown over. I won't say much more because I don't want to spoil anything for anyone. I'm yours has many different plot twists and the ending is very emotional. One thing I can say is I thought some of the book was very predictable but will not stop me from purchasing the third book because I still could not put my iPad down! While I've read a lot of YA
Great book, but it doesn't even compare to "Sweetness", book one of the Bold As Love series. "I'm Yours" kept me interested with what was next for Emily and Jake but it wasn't quite as good as "Sweetness"; it just ended. Hopefully book three will be better. Can't wait to read it :) Lindsay Paige is a great author.
As the sequel to "Sweetness," "I'm Yours" picks up a few months later with Emily and Jake, their lives so different, but yet better than before. The books escalates with intensity, and drops off with a bit of a choir hanger. When I finished this book, I couldn't (and can't) wait to read the next one. Their life are different in the beginning from the first book, but drastically different by the third. Exciting, happy, sad, and sweet.
Kindle Version (free from author for honest review)This is an absolutely wonderful continuation of Emily and Jakes newfound relationship. No relationship is all rainbows and unicorns though, and theirs is no different. Just when they are starting to acknowledge that they may just love one another, a very unexpected thing happensEmilys ex boyfriend finds her and tells her why he left her and how he still loves her. Who will Emily pick? Can her new found love for Jake outweigh the love she had
Im Yours is the second book in the Bold As Love series by Lindsay Paige, this carries on from where we left off on Sweetness, Emily and Jakes relationship. They were in love and inseparable.Reading this straight after reading Sweetness was brilliant as I could catch up straight away.Emily had come out of herself completely now and was a different person that she was in the first book. Totally changed.Im Yours does have a sexual nature to it, however this isnt graphical and it was written really
Freebee.... so I didn't realize this book was in a series.. but for jumping in and reading the second book now which makes since... Read the 2nd book first was pretty good, for not knowing what was going on I felt like I could relate to the characters in someway. or another... Sorry but I really don't write long reviews..
