Criticize Epithetical Books Turbulent Sea (Drake Sisters #6)
I really loved this one. It wasn't perfect but I have to say that there were some outstanding things about this book that let me overlook the negatives.I have a funny relationship with this series because even though there are some slightly cringeworthy elements and cliché's, I still find this series incredibly compelling and I just can't put the thing down once I start reading. I did skim a little bit when the detail or dialogue was going too in depth without telling me anything new, but on the

I was highly anticipating this book ever since we met Ilya Prakenskii in Oceans of Fire. It didn't live up to my expectations. We didn't see enough of Ilya or get enough of his past to discover what made him the man he is. Instead, Christine spent too much time on a convoluted subplot that came from nowhere and didn't move the story along. Too much of the book was spent on Joley, her point of view and her dealing with her band and their problems. We were introduced to 5 characters we'd never met

Christine Feehans Turbulent Sea is book 6 in the Drake Sisters series. I have to admit, I have been looking forward to this story above all the others. Not for the heroine, Joley, but for Ilya Prakenskii, the mysterious Russian we met in Oceans of Fire and who saved Hannahs life in Safe Harbor .PLOT SPOILERS: Joley is a rock star out on tour. Shes been getting threats for ages from stalkers and over-zealous fans, but now shes facing real danger. A teenage girl disappeared at an after-party

Turbulent Sea Drake Sisters, Book 6 I Picked Up This Book Because: Continue the series that I didnt finish a million years ago. The Characters: Joley Drake: Ilya Prakenskii: The Story: Im too lazy to write a real review. Overall I like the book. Ive read so many Sea Haven/Sisters of the Heart books that I forgot there was a time when the Drakes didnt trust the Prakenskii brothers. The Random Thoughts: Not having specific song/album names drove me crazy for some reason The Score Card:

IlyaI am in love and I don't care that he's taken and a fictional character. He's just SO DAMN PERFECT!I loved every domineering, over-protective, swoony thing he did or said <3UNLIKE the heroine Example: Ilya wants to be with Joley, forever, not just as a one night stand."I want you more than I've ever wanted anything in my life, but you were hoping to have sex and walk away without ever looking back. That's not what's between us. That's how you're looking at me - at us - and I'm not

Ever since Ilya Prakenskii was introduced as a secondary character in this series and possible love interest for Joley that I have been convinced that their book would be one of my favourites. I love mysterious bad boys with a dangerous aura and Ilya, from the first, seemed exactly one of that kind.I have realised that in my latest reviews of the series I have been somewhat remiss in mentioning the Drake sisters powers and how that influences their stories. The truth is that sometimes I think

*WARNING* contains explicit sexual contentThis is one of those stories where I detest the female main character. Joley Drake is selfish, takes everything for granted, knows she's being a demanding "diva' and continues to do so! The story may be okay, but with such a terrible heroine, it just ruins the story for me. 😞
