I really loved this one. It wasn't perfect but I have to say that there were some outstanding things about this book that let me overlook the negatives.I have a funny relationship with this series because even though there are some slightly cringeworthy elements and cliché's, I still find this series incredibly compelling and I just can't put the thing down once I start reading. It didn't live up to my expectations.We didn't see enough of Ilya or get enough of his past to discover what made him the man he is.
