wow, this book is really twisted, book about manipulation, rape, and kidnapping. Felt more sick to my stomach about what was happening than I was entertained.I tried reading this but not in the right mood for such a dark romance will return to it later.
I got this trilogy bundle on sale via BookBub and decided to give it a read based on the review of one of my favorite bloggers who has it on her 5 star reads, top reads of all time, and favorite couple shelves. Usually, I totally agree with her ratings and will one click a book based solely on her review so it saddens my literary heart to say that this did not work for me. Julian was a straight up asshole and I wanted to junk-punch him. Repeatedly. Nora drove me crazy. I wanted to shake the shit
I first read book 1 in this series a couple years ago and for some reason I was unable to connect with the characters. Recently my really good friend ( Hi Bee )has been encouraging me to read it and I finally gave in lol. I actually enjoyed book 1 & 2. The storyline was good so it held my interest. My issue is it had way too much sex scenes in it. Dont get me wrong I love reading about hot and heavy scenes but every other page in this series contained sex. I actually started skimming through
Writing was good but...The story was absurd. I realize that fiction is just that...fiction. However, in a so-called romance I at least like believability. The main characters were so screwed up it became laughable, which is good considering the storyline was a joke. I gave this book one star simply because, as I said, the writing was well done.
4 stars never let you go This book is so intense I should give it 5 stars but Julian worse my pet nick name its pretty killing my feeling But the battle of their love The sex scenes I think I really need sometimes just to digest my feeling and give a proper review
