Not as enthralling as his other books. The science was quite mind blowing and obviously well researched. However the book didn't really gel for me and then seemed to run out of steam.Hopefully the next in the series will live up to the earlier books.Action packed adventure with Ben Hope. Rattling read.
When it's in full swing, this book is as good as the rest of the Ben Hope series, but #12 is rather light on the action. The idea is good, that much I did really enjoy, but some segments (notably the explanation of the science, whether correct or not) go on for too long. Like the Monastery chapters of the previous book, segments are drawn out, descriptive with nothing actually happening.

I really liked the first 43 chapters of this book, but then the whole climate change redicule started. Trump was most likely informed by this book, when stating that climate change is fake news. The unending explanations about sun et al were rather annoying aswell.

Easy time for Ben this time. Saves the girl. Good book. Shame it all ends on the last chapter or two. Too quickly. Leaves a lot to the imagination. What happens now with the story of the sun?
I love the Ben Hope series - and Ben Hope - more than chocolate and The Cassandra Sanction did not disappoint - next to impossible to put down.
