Abby seems a little too immature to be married and I wish she was a little quicker on the uptake. But I liked the inclusion of M.J. (could have done without Gilley), and I really liked the way the timeline went back and forth. Also, it's champing at the bit, not chomping.Just one of those cozy mystery series that I will read until there stop being books in it to read. It's the same with her other series, but that's more nostalgia with who gave me the first book. (Well, that and I like them a lot better.)
Jumped the shark on this one. Really disappointed in How this one played out-Might not read any more in the series because this book was so contrived and forced.Boo

I almost put this book down... It was really hard to get through. I am hoping her next few books are more like the early Abby cooper books...
This character is starting to annoy me. Not as much as in the last book, but still... She whines about her upcoming nuptials an awful lot for someone who's entire wedding is being planned and paid for by someone else. She can only blame her own apathy and laziness for anything her wedding planning sister does without her approval. And I don't understand this juvenile 'swear jar' thing. Why would two adults with no children in their lives be so absorbed with avoiding swear words? The cutesy
This book was sooooooo good! I waited a year for it to be released in paperback (I have the other ten books in the series in that format and didn't want to create chaos on my bookshelf with a larger hardcover thrown in the mix. Crazy, I know.) The next book is out in a month... in hardcover. We'll see if I make it another year waiting for the paperback. I love both of Laurie's series and will keep reading them for as long as she writes them. ♥
I liked it and I thought it was a great read. I thoroughly recommend that people go ahead and read the book prior to this one so they really understand what is happening in this book.
