1.5 StarsDid I read the same book as everybody else? The blurb promises dark, mysterious things and hints at (or rather straight up states) a carnal read. I got none of that. Instead, theres incessant eye-rolling (seriously, I think this book has more eye-rolls than all the other books Ive ever read. Combined.) and very little is explained or found out. Theres just a lot of statements made and unanswered questions that lead up to a cliffhanger. We dont even meet the allusive Jonas until 23% in

The book started slow but once it got going, it was hard for me to put it down. Full of suspense and mystery that keeps you guessing! Great read! Read in 2 days!

This audiobook was the epitome of romantic suspense! His Secret kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. From the fantastic twists and turns to the sizzling romance there wasnt a moment that I wanted to stop listening. Gina A. Jones exhilarating writing made 10 hours seem like 10 minutes in the best way. Narration by Tracy Marks was top notch. Shes one of my favorite narrators for a reason. Her ability to give each character their own voice and being the story to life is always spot on.

Oh my! What a read. I was hooked from the get go on this story and I am so glad that even though this ends in a cliffie I have the next one to read. I enjoyed these characters. I liked the mystery aspect. I didnt quite figure out what was going on even though I had that inkling but once I did I was shocked. Captivating! Wow! This was my first Gina A. Jones's book and won't be the last. This is the first book in The Secret Series. I wish I could better explain why I love this story so much.
