I must admit, I watched the first few episodes of the anime a few years back but never completed it. Just recently, I thought, Why not complete it in manga version? I'm glad I made that decision, actually. The story can be hard to understand at first (hence the 4-star rating, instead of a 5-star one) but the characters are completely adorable (Frau may be a complete nutjob, but he's my fave so far) and they keep you going until you actually understand Zaiphon, the history of the kingdoms and what the Eye of Mikhail is all about.

07 Ghost, Yuki Amemiya & Yukino Ichihara, 2009. Ive seen the anime twice, but I believe it ends somewhere near Volume 1 or so. The anime was rather impressive, both in the creativity of its diegesis and formal elements. However, since the plot covered only a good five percent of the manga, I was left wanting. At that time, unfortunately, the manga was still running and had not been completed, so I chose to wait until its completion of all 17 volumes and 100 chapters to read it.The manga is

This was a good idea, but a lot of the action-y scenes were really hard to follow. The manga is decent, but it was way better (at least in my opinion) as an anime.

The moment I started reading through this manga, I started foreshadowing every possibility and every angle.
