I did not like this book because I did not like the part when Toad's list of things to do blew away. I enjoyed this book because I liked the part when Toad's seeds started to grow.
One of the best children's books ever, great stories and illustrations.

Another adorable frog and toad book. This one is better that the previous one .I loved each and every story -loved the innocence like for instance toad singing at night to the seeds that he had planted in his garden just because he thinks the seeds would be afraid of the dark and refuse to grow!:):)-why do things get so complicated when we grow up ? anyways my favourite story here was The Dream - the thought of losing your favourite person when you're after the other good things in life is scary
Cute and funny flashback to my childhood. I love these books.
Reading the Frog and Toad series truly helped me become a lifelong reader. So many generations of children are indebted to Arnold Lobel. His illustrations drew you in but his unique, creative writing kept you there. One of the top ten best children's authors.

When Toad bakes cookies, Frog helps him eat them. And when both Frog and Toad are scared, they are brave together. Frog and Toad TogetherThe List: Toad attempts to bring order to the chaos of his daily life, but chaos intervenes. The Garden: Toad attempts to plant a garden after seeing Frogs, yearning for growth. Lots of layers here, for he is seen toiling away in vain for days. Alas, upon sleeping his garden sprouts. I believe the garden here is a deeper metaphor for Toads search for meaning in his life. It arrives naturally, after repeated attempts to make it happen. Cookies: A certified F&T classic,I did not like this book because I did not like the part when Toad's list of things to do blew away. I enjoyed this book because I liked the part when Toad's seeds started to grow.
