The second in the Highlands Trilogy, HIGHLAND GRACE begins where HIGHLAND VENGEANCE ended, giving you Bao and Jesslyn's story. Set in the turn of the 13th century Scottish Highlands. When widow and devoted mother to a five-year-old, Jesslyn MacCreary, discovers her brief encounter with her laird's long-lost brother has resulted in an out-of-wedlock pregnancy, she is thrust into matrimony with its exotically handsome, angry, and seemingly unwilling, father. Bao Xiong Maclean, by day, a contracted warrior for William, King of Scots, and by night, a lover for hire to the pampered ladies of the king's court, is fighting his attraction to the lovely flaxen-haired widow whose family is the reason he and his mother became slaves to the man who sired him: Jamison Maclean.

Awesome readBeautiful story of finding true love and how it can overcome the worst of trials past or present. Full of steamy passion and villains. Loved Boa's character,

What a rideIf you like romance novels that have unexpected twists and turns, then this book is for you. I enjoyed the unexpected plot twists, and I have read many romance novels. Usually I can predict the outcome but not this time.

After reading the first two books in this medieval / highlands trilogy I have drawn two conclusions.1. This is a book about life. Life is an amazing gift with sometimes unbearable burdens. But that's how life works: you push through, you survive and ultimately, if you manage to conquer your fears, you flourish. I loved that the characters didn't dwell in the past and didn't let any miscommunications continue indefinetely. They faced everything as it came, like real people and the book didn't end

Loved it! There are a few times when it seems to move a bit too fast, but over all, it is very well written and I couldn't put it down!

This was Bao and Jesslyn's story, and I loved loved loved it! This book like the first one is about family, love, acceptance, brutality, torture, and moving from surviving to thriving. I love these characters, they all seemed real to me, very well written. I loved Bao, he had been through hell and is trying to find his way. He is ashamed of his past and is tortured with emotional demons. Jesslyn is still trying to get over the death of her husband and she is forced to marry Bao because they did
